NIGERIA TIWA SAVAGE MOURNS FATHER

Did you know that Tiwatope Savage a Nigeria musician,actress and song writer was born on 5 February 1980 in Isale Eko, Lagos State of Nigeria.

She relocated to London at the age of 11 for her secondary school education and afterward she graduated from University of kent with a degree in Accounting and started work with Royal bank of scotland. 
Five years after later she began her music career doing backup vocals for artists such as George Michael and Mary J. Blige.

Inspired by the fast rate at which Nigerian music was growing, Tiwas returned back to Nigeria and signed record deal with Mavin records in the year 2012.

In the year 2013 November 23rd Tiwa Savage married Tunji aka Tee Billz and their traditional marriage was held at the Ark in Lekki and white wedding was held on 26th April 2014 at Armani Hotel in United Arab Emirates Dubai.

January 1st 2015 Tiwa and Tee Billz announced that they were expecting their first child, Their son was born 6 months later after the announcement.A year later after their wedding Balogun accused Tiwa that she was having an extra marital affair and also accused Tiwa's mother of witchcraft.Tiwa however refuted her husband's infidelity claims and accused Tee Billz of financial recklessness, drug addiction and abandoning her, She announced that her marriage with Tee Billz was over.
Sadly on  July 19 2021, Tiwa Savage lost her father to undisclosed illness and she wrote in quota: 
"Early hours of this morning you made a peaceful transition. You fought till the very end, you really fought daddy, 

it’s been rough for you these past couple years but you are resting now. This is tough on me, I’m so numb, so weak.

Rest In Perfect Peace my King

I love you daddy. Savy t’eko, pappin K"
