The 14th Fulani Emir of kano and former Governor of the Central Bank

of Nigeria (CBN) Alh. Muhammad Sanusi II, has disclosed that he is not interested in contesting 2023 election.

He made it clear that a man of his repute would never hide such ambition, he went further to state that he was never interested in politics.

Alh. Muhammad Sanusi II was the only northern Nigerian CEO at First Bank in 125 years.

 He was the Governor of CBN, the Emir of Kano, the Khalifa Tijjaniya in Nigeria, the title which started in 1965 and he is the third holder of that title. His grandfather, Isiaka Rabiu and then himself.

Alh. Muhammad Sanusi II turned 60 years this August 2021.
